Meet Coach Lia · Malia Chambliss
A life can evolve.
So can the woman living it.
Lia's work is informed by professional training, years in helping professions, and the lived complexity of marriage, motherhood, and entrepreneurship. Novo is where those perspectives meet.
The woman
You don't need to lose your voice
to lose touch with what you want.

Lia has always been bold, outspoken, and willing to say what she thinks. That matters to the perspective behind Novo: identity work isn't only for the woman who needs permission to speak.
You can have a voice and still hesitate over a decision. You can be capable, loved, and proud of what you've built while discovering that a role or expectation needs another look.
As a wife, mother, and entrepreneur, Lia lives among roles that ask different things of her. The work of being a person within those roles is ongoing. Novo makes room for that reality without turning evolution into evidence that you got your life wrong.
The practitioner
People make more sense
when you see the context.
A master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy shaped Lia's understanding of people in relationship: the patterns that develop, the roles that become familiar, and the wider circumstances around a decision.
Her professional experience spans clinical work, case management, education, and career and college coaching. Across those settings, understanding a person means attending to their strengths and responsibilities as well as the problem they're trying to solve.
She holds an ICF Associate Certified Coach (ACC) credential, and her coaching draws on solution-focused and relational thinking. It takes complexity seriously while staying interested in practical movement: what can this woman understand, choose, or try next?
The observation behind Novo
Understanding why something happens doesn't automatically change what happens next.
That is where
the work continues.
You may know why you get defensive and still hear a question as criticism. You may understand the family dynamic and still struggle to set a different boundary. You may recognize that a career no longer fits without knowing what should replace it.
These are not failures of intelligence or self-awareness. They are moments where awareness needs to become a different kind of practice.
The body of work
Why The Novo
Collective exists.
Novo brings this perspective together through Identity Reconstruction™: helping a woman close the distance between what she knows and how she lives.
The Edit Framework™ is the methodology. House of Her is the practice environment. The Art of Unbecoming names the territory where what once fit no longer does, and the next version of life isn't completely mapped.
Lia's role is not to decide whether you should leave, stay, move, or begin again. It is to help you examine the situation honestly, identify what matters, and practice making decisions you can learn from.
You remain the person living the life. That is the point.
A clear distinction:
this is coaching.
Lia's clinical background informs her perspective. It does not make House of Her therapy. Within Novo, she works as a coach.
The membership is a place for reflection, decisions, boundaries, and real-life practice. It does not diagnose or treat mental health conditions and does not replace clinical care.
Begin with your real life
You don't need a polished answer.
You need somewhere to start.
